Hi,

I want to start playing tournaments with my two sons(12 + 15) so preferbly 3 man.

We do not own our own markers (a drawback I know!) but do have everything else from playing on punter days.

Am I being incredibly nieve or is their a tournament/promoter that could accomadate us? or do I really need to get us all markers first before someone will take us seriously? Any help much appreciated.:)

Thanks

You've got the South west 3 man bedlam on the 18th of may (www.southwestpaintball.co.uk) and you have a 3 man tournament at Diablo paintball in maidenhead on the 30th November (www.diablopaintballing.com) I'm not sure if there are any others throughout the year. Your best bet would be to contact your local site and see if they know of any or can find out. Hell why not see if you can convince you local site to run one. :D

Hope this helps

Thanks Aarron. I'll check them out.

While we are on the subject of sites running tourneys, do sites run tourneys using their own rental equipment? Surely this would be a logical step to encourage players to cross over from being punters to regular players. Maybe I just don't keep up with whats going on and somebody does already! Any help on this new thread would be of help.

Thanks,

MikeyR

I'm not entirely sure but i think that Diablo Paintball in Maidenhead are willing to help you out if you need to borrow something. Just remembered that they also do an academy one sunday a month where you can turn up to play. I'll see what I can find out and get back to you. :D

Yes, Sparklie will happily rent you markers etc if you want to play in her site tourneys (or Academy for that matter). They are always friendly and relaxed, with people new to tournament being given loads of help from everyone.

Just cut her a bit of slack for the next few days please - she's going to be out of her office clearing up after this weekend's M25 for a few more days so it might take her a while to get back to you.
