any one any good with Piranha'a?

ok going on a punter day tomorrow and cant use my Ion as they only use C02 so was going to use my old PMI Piranha 2k3 thats been sitting in my kit bag for ages. re lubed it all last night and took it out in the garden today for a test fire. Problem is that it gases up ok and i have pressure showing on the front reg and it cycles through ok but the faster i fire the pressure drops down until there is nothing left and it wont re cock its self. I then have 2 re cock it and wait until the pressure builds up again

I have changed all the o rings on the bolt and hammer and re lubed again but it still happens.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be hpa bottle has only got 1k left in it so not sure if it might be that

any help you can give would be great as i really don't want to use a site marker!

ake sure that the air system / c02 bottle is screwed into the asa fully. Sounds like its struggling to re-charge

Ion's DO work with CO2. Its been said that over time it can damage the internals, but 1 day of use shouldn't matter.

Just an option if you can't get your other marker working.

the problem with CO2 is that it is a liquid. Therefore to power a gun it has to become a gas, ie it has to boil. To do this it takes heat from its surroundings, mostly your gun.

I've seen manual cockers with ice forming on them from rapid rates of fire with CO2, and electro spyders. Freezing your ion probably isn't a good idea, the seals become brittle and chip/split/wear out quicker. Fine if you're single shotting it all day, but not good if laying down any serious paint. The old site infernos on CO2 would be frozen in a matter of seconds if the hammer spun and it went off.

in my experience, blowbacks only beat down for 2 reasons. The o-ring on the hammer is knackered/missing, or the pressure is too low. As u replaced the o-rings...
