14/15 yold done this too my car... luckily for him he drove off.... luckily for me his wheel fell off half way down the road so the police caught him

i had a drunk kid plough into me once.. cost me a fortune in repairs as i was only 17 at the time and my Excess on my insurance was high...
Saved for ages for my first car too..
it also broke my wrist..

the kid got away with a caution and some sort of behavior order...

i paid the real price for his actions....

(ahem.. made the twat pay though... through other means of persuation..)

Drinking and driving is just beyond comprehension to me...
My friend and I were in teh Chippy once, at about 8pm...guy comes in, pissed as a fart...he had parked (badly) his motor outside teh chippy...kids inside.
He bought his Chips...I turned to him and said, "Is that your car mate?"
"Yeeeeeh"

My mate and I ..and teh Chippy owner, kindly informed him, that he would not be driving teh car away that evening..took his keys, and called him a cab...he did get the hump for a bit, but then mellowed...he only lived 10 mins up the road, and had driven down with his kids, pissed as a fart (couldnt really stand up or speak too well)...they all got home safely.
He left teh keys with teh chippy and came back the next afternoon to pick them up.


I dont think insurance actually covers you, even if you do have a licence etc, if your drunk behnd teh wheel.
