any ideas if it is possible to replace lcd internals ie ram etc with the internals of the newer models of the angels?

what actual benefits would this give to the marker?

I've seen ir3 rams in the lcd but i'm not sure if the A4 ram will fit.

A shorter ram will be more gas efficeint, and cycle quicker.

Cant put ir3 rams in any LCD accept the 03 limited edition models, due to there length and there o ring placement.

You can however put speed/a4 rams into ir3's they work on slightly lower pressure but to be honest with the valve guide and cup seal on an ir3 you would hardly notice the difference

Would be to get a "eye" system fitted.

These babys make the lcd's rip. We have a few angels that "stig" has done his magic on........outstanding!

seems like a good idea
i was just seein bout other possibles cos i dnt wna replace my gat i love the millin but it seems the eye is the way to go so should be getting one this summer if i can find the cash

I wouldn't have thought that any of the latest three versions would be able to use each others parts due to the large size difference... interesting tidbit.

Should you go with eyes, don't get some non-LCD board with a microswitch and non-removeable wires held in by JB Weld, check out the Master Tech Fly conversion.. takes any A4 or Speed (and I've seen it on an LCD too, they just don't have pricing for it at the website) and gives it the Fly board, Fly eyes, Fly covers (or at least very similar), and your WDP warranty stays intact. www.angelforce.tv/conversion.html for more info.

I know you like the Force Fly however there are alternate systems, the HK and Warped versions both use the JB Weld, The Predator did use a similar substance in appearance but is was removable unlike JB Weld but that was a temporary solution...it comes with eye covers now and a warranty is attached to the Angel regardless of age by TAG (the fitting of the Predator includes a Gold level service)...Any Angel before a Speed will be out of warranty anyway and a lot of Speed's now.
TAG also returns all the spare parts to you...battery, board, charger sensi/cops sensor so you can sell these on...HK don't know for sure about them..but Warped do keep those parts. The Force EyeQ system keeps your board (replacing it of course) and you still use the Angel battery/charger

Interestingly I canged back from an opto switch to a microswitch.

I can now shoot much faster, much more positive feel than an opto switch.

Its probably because Im used to the feel of a microswitch after shooting an LCD for so long.

any idea if stigs board allows the lcd functions to function with it or are these functions jus used wen using the normal board?

also is there an lcd display for the extra board? or is it actually jus a board with no display
