any cocker techs who can help here on at dartford on sunday?

i really need my cocker looking at asap. its kinda chocking when fired, no evident leak except instead of firing normally it kinda chocks outta the barrel with hugely reduced pressure. im training on monday so cant send it off to planet.

skeet any ideas? dont spose your gonna be down there?
obviously ill pay whoever fixes it for thier time. just really need this sorted on sunday if not b4.

somone had a look at it during last weekend and the sear release lug (?) had rounded off slightly, they tried a re-machined one and still no luck

help.... anyone? lol

Check your battery first, let me know what it is at. Then...




gas it up, turn it on. Then press the wee orange button under your cocking solinoid. If the marker cocks then fire it and if it doesnt recock then dail up your cocking pressure a little then fire a string/a few dry shots and see if it cocks. If the sear isnt catching the hammer simply take your bolt out and insert an allen key (cant remember what size) into the top hole on your body.

Make sure the hammer is infront of the sear ie. not ready to fire, then turn it down a twist or two clockwise and this will increase the lug hieght.

ryan i turn the gun on, it pisses air i fire a couple of shots and it does cock and stops pissing air outta the front QEV. i didnt need to press the orange button?

the sear much be catching on the lug as its cocking? correct me if im wrong im useless with this stuff.

the gun was running fine and litterally mid game it started chocking, it fires as normal but its at a really low pressure and it kinda coughs as opposed to fireing a normal shot. the balls were comin outta the barrel as if i was shooting at 100fps

like i say it went mid game so i cant see it being a result of fiddling with anything?

Have you played about with your timing settings?

Change your qev or poke a small allen key into the hole the air comes out of to try poke back the membrane.

What is your battery like? full/empty etc

The only way you marker "chokes" if the inline reg has been turned too low or if it doesnt catch the sear properly and the hammer doesnt strike the valve pin right.

cock it manually and fire once, does it fire fine then?

ok gentlemen heres the low down
its got a brand new durecell in there
the cocking rod is screwed in plenty tight, QEV is brand new, prob 1000 shots put through it.

the inline reg maybe the prob.... like i say in the middle of the game it was firing sweet then just chocked no ajustment was made to the reg. maybe one of the reg internals? either that or its something on nthe gun which i have no intention on touching as ill take 10 bits out and have 3 left over once ive put it back together lol

got someone having a look at it on sunday but if i can fix it b4 then and save thier time i thought i would have a crack but it sounds like its outta my league
