currently ive been using a BT delta for the past 6 months and i am thinking of going for an electronic marker. so the question is what marker(second hand or not) would be advised as my budget will be about £200-£250 although i was also thinking of saving a couple months and buying a new etek 3.

Etek 3

I think the best bet is to wait and save up for the etek 3, its a really reliable market and shoots really nice.
Probably the best marker for around that price.

hope this helps, chris

Its up to you try and get down to a site and see whats about - You can buy new or you can get a different marker second hand which is worth more like an ego 09 or something ??? but whatever you decided ask to have a go first mate and make the right choice :)

I don't agree with everybody saying to save up and get an Etek 3. You will be able to pick up a good marker for your budget with no problems.

You could get an Etek 2, Ego 7, maybe an Ego 8, DM7, PM8, PM9, Invert Mini, etc...

Personally I'm using an Ego 7, cost me £250 and shoots perfectly, very consistent, not too bad on air, doesn't break paint, no problems with it at all.

If you've got a budget now I say go for something that is within your current budget asd you can still pick up something that will do perfectly well without spending loads of money.

Totally agree on the Eclipse customer service. When I bought my marker on here it didn't come with a case. I dropped Planet an email asking if they had any left over anywhere and a day later they replied saying they didn't have any for sale still but they had found one lurking around the place and if I covered the cost of postage then they would send it to me.
