Hey again, everyone. I was lookin' on paintballgear.com and I found an ANS Quick Pull Bolt for 40$ Okay, a pretty good deal, but it says it will only fit in 2000 Autocockers. So, my question would be, if it wasn't updated for awhile (meaning not the 99's and so on), would it fit into a 2002 Autococker?

A word of warning... one thing to watch out for with these bolts, after some use the springs on the retaining balls get worn out which will allow the bolt to periodically shoot out the back of the gun and crack you right between the eyes(hope you got your mask on). It has happened to me twice since I bought mine, after about 6 cases of paint. Other than that, it's a great bolt.

Not that I'm aware of. If it happens, make sure you clear the breech, or you'll chop a few balls when you put it back in. (once again experience talks)

Like I said, this is a great bolt, especially if you are going for low preasure. Just don't throw out the stock bolt, just in case it misses your face and flies off the field and you can't find it.

Well the stock bolt's kinda messed up. I check the thing after every time I use the gun, clean it and such, to make sure it's okay.. but ever scince I let my friend use the gun for a game, the balls started curving almost 90 degrees, and that's when I found that it had chips at the top of it. Damn Kevin has the magic toutch.

chips in the top? you will get some scraping where it passes over the ball detent, but if it's affecting the face of the bolt, you may have your detent screwed in too much

Im going to be honest here. I absolutly love my ANS gx3 cocker. It has the ans bolt in it. I have to say one thing though and a lot of people may argue with me. Nothing is wrong with the stock bolt. In fact I have never seen any bolt for the cocker increase accuracy or range more than what you get with the stock bolt. Other than the fact that its perty there is no advantage. Im sure I will be crucified for saying such but its my honest opinion.

You're absoloutly right. The Stock bolt is one of the highest flow bolts on the market. And really, all the bolt does is direct gas flow, therefore you want a high flow bolt. There are few bolts on the market that are higher flow and the ANS is one of them. And yesm it is perty.
