i was looking to upgrade to a tournament level gun, i've heard good from my shop about the ans line b/c the owner has a gen-E, i was looking at the gen-3's, how are they? fast, don't chop, upgradeale, overall, how are they?

I live about 30 minutes from the ANS store so I've had the chance to shoot quite a few of them. Overall they shoot very nicely, they have a nice smooth stroke, etc. However, I dont think that they are any more special than other custom cockers. If you can get a good deal on one, then go for it, otherwise get whatever you can get a good deal on from a good manufacturer.

Depends on what you are capable of...any mechanical marker will probably not be able to be shot by a human any faster than 10 cps. Now, mechanically, they ANS Gx3 and 4 can cycle as high as 45 cps.
