Ok So I have an Impulse and I want to learn about it. I wanna be some one at trainging days that people go Ohh yea got an Impy problem talk to Tom Tom what he doesn't know about them isn't worth knowing.

(Spot the problem I don't know a lot about them yet)

I dont want to open mine up and fiddle and break it and then not be able to fix it.

Do they run courses on maintenece and stuff, (I pretty much washed the intruction manual) Is there an online one i can use

cheers for your help

Tom... there are online manuals at www.smartparts.com. Other good resources on the impulse are www.impyowners.com and www.impulseownersgroup.com as well as the Impulse forums at pbnation and paintballcity.

As far as I know no one runs a maintainence type course but I'm sure one of the guys at SP Euro would happily go through it with you.

The other online manual at smartparts.com worth looking at is the max flo one.

Hope this helps mate

Give Smart Parts a call, 01322 555968. Nice guys who'll answer all these questions & more, as they are the ones that would be doing the work anyway.
Got a feeling the conversion to a Vision is large amounts though, just compare the price of a standard Impulse to a Vision.

OK, your impy will go fine on air. The options are either to double regulate it and use a nice cheapo preset system or to but a low pressure high flow system like the max flow air system.

Probably the cheapest way to put your impy on air would be to get an Eclipse FRM, mount your existing maxflow on the front and simple use a preset system screwed into the bottom line and the maxflow to step the pressure down to 180 odd psi.
Bear in mind that most systems will be no good without double regulating.
