im trying to decide how best to setup me markers, ive got 3 and there all different ion, RT pro, and blazer. i want to be able to swap the bottles around to save on fill's. so im thinking presets, but theres also the x-stream adjustable screw in type system, but the problem with that is each one would be setup for the marker its on, so again im stuck. can you get a good recharge and consistency rate from a preset? or am i better of the an x-stream or similar, although none spring to mind. ive got 3 pure energy regs at the moment which need bottles, also a flatline, and and x-stream reg, so i realy need to make my mind up. and last but not least on the ion could i rely on the maxflo Cheap version to be consistent with a HP input from a preset or should i get a cp reg or similar? oh and im working on the theory that the closer i get the tank out put to the opperating pressure the less work the maxflo will have to do and thus be more consistent, am i right? oh ok this is the last question, ive heard alot of people saying you shouldnt put a reg infront of a mag valve as it will starve it, is this true? id thought most systems these day would be more than capable or keeping up and again a more consistent input can only be a good thing.... right? thanks in advance guys and gals

is the ion high or low pressure,if its high then a high pressure preset will be fine,if it's low pressure you will need a adjustable reg the x tream is good for the money.
the evil psyon had the best recharge rate:)

the ion has a working pressure around 180psi. it can handle hp thought, i just thought that would mean the inline reg would be working harder though. the balzer takes about 400psi and the mags aparently they like 700psi plus, with an output of around 450psi, or so i heard. im not too worried about recharge as its capped at 17bps which is fine by me its consistency which im trying to sort. basicly im trying to have an interchangeable system, which is consistent. i gess as long as i use good inline regs it should be ok. right?!

You dont need to double reg an RT matey...the AIR valve, is a reg on its own...same as the Flatline in design.

The RT, requires around 650 psi, to operate efficiently...the higher you go, the more response you will get...you can actually run 3000 psi into a AIR reg (have a look on the reg) and at around 1000 psi...you will get 18/19 bps out of it.

The thing about the ND Extreme, is is very easy, to change the output, if you use it on a different gun, and its very fast, recharge wise.

Not sure about a reg on the ION, dont know anything about Blasers...unless its the Centrefire version your on about, but I doubt it!

So...you could, use 1 Preset and the Extreme..or..set your guns up, with the ND, and just note, what pressure to run the ND at, for that gun.

It's either gonna be HP or LP really, at teh end of the day.

I say...keep a preset, as they are handy...and run the ND at 650psi...that will run the mag fine without being too bouncy, and wont overwork the regs on the LP guns, but will make sure that recharge rate, is optimised.

Right..I'm off for some sex...l8ters.

pmsl you lot are mad. thanks for the help. i only wondered about a second reg on a mag because A: the cp reg would look very cool on my RT pro, and B: im trying to get it as consistent as possible, i know the valve is a reg but i thought if you give it a consistent diet it will be more consistent, i know im proberly gonna get shoulded at here, but i hear alot of people saying how accurate cockers are over mag, and as far as im aware the only real effects on accuracy are barrel/paint match, barrel quality and consistent pressures and of course round balls, just trying to get the best outta what i got. i cant beleive noone knows about the blazer here kinda cool though will supraise a few people when i use it, the guy who makes them..... by hand! is the daddy of semi auto paintball markers, glenn palmer.

p.s. less of the gagging reference's its making me hanker for my ex and i'll only get in trouble if i go back there........ again! ;)

marker whore/ general whore :D :(
