Anodizing Question

Hi Guys

I bought an Ego on Friday from Planet.

My question is, is it feasable for anodizing to flake off or have I caught it some how?

A piece of the coating has come off at the corner of the marker (the backend) and Im pretty sure I haven't caught it on anything.

Anodizing doesn't "flake off", it's not paint, it's an oxide layer in the aluminum. It can be scratched or scuffed off, but it doesn't "flake"

best bet is to contact planet and ask them if theres anything you can do.
They are a great help up there and will do what they can for you
