Annoying auctions

Is it just me or is it that everyone that is selling shizzle nowadays is always wanting to auction their stuff? i mean what is this ebay?

i rememeber the good old times of just post and sell your stuff.
none of this for auction end at the end of the week.

where the big sales? eh i just want some quick buys.

It seems to only be on very rare items, like E-Vents, that people are running auctions on. The only thing about it I think is that it's blatently done to make a profit. If someone's got a pair chances are they'll have paid normal price in US dollars minus the usual additions, then they bring them back here and auction them off hoping to get 2/3 times what they paid. There's no reserve price so it can go on for as long as they want, for maximum gain on their part.

The forums are'nt structured to handle 'auctions' and rightly so; there's 2 perfectly good paintball auction sites aswell as eBay, IMHO leave the forums for traditional B/S/T threads.

the one i find crazy at the moment is the obsession with everything white...why the hell is it selling for silly prices 2nd hand!!
ive seen a pair of white ear peices sell for £35+.......bloody crazy, i know where there is a shop that sells sheets of the stuff they are made of in 50 different colours (including white) for less than £2! it would take 2 mins to make a dozen pairs!

do you mean exorbiant?

PS tourneys only allow precut soft ears; if you make your own they're 'illegal', & can't use them in Mils etc...no excuse to pay £35+ for them tho
