The other week I was playing and bith myself and other back player were sure we had covered this guy at the back and he should have walked. All other players of both sides were doing this but this one guy was really getting on our nerves,

we had to call ourselves out due to limited marshalls but this one guy got my blood going.

Any tips on staying calm or getting from one end of a field to another just to lite up a cheating fncker?

If it's a tourney, it's a whole different matter, but if it's just a training day, let it slide......it's not worth the aggrevation, the raised blood pressure, or the popped vein in your forehead.
If you talk to him in the safe zone he will most likely just deny it, and you'll only get madder. You might be able to bunker his @$$, but then there's a good chance he'll just pop a few balls back at you and claim it was simultaneous.......
So don't lose any sleep over it, accept the fact that you are a better person than the worthless git, and walk away afterwards with your head up. If nothing else, you can at least give him the 'my n*ts are way bigger than yours' look in the safe zone.

Peace.

Plus if they're that sad that they feel the need to cheat during a training session, they will invariably push their luck during a tourney when the stakes are higher and there are more keen-eyed marshals in attendance.

Hello penalty points . . .

It aint nice when that happens m8.
The only consolation u have is that this guy will get a name for himself as a 'wiper' or 'cheater' a pretty hard name 2 shift i would have thought!!!!.......i'm sure losing your rag won't help......it'll stress ya 4 the rest of the day......just get the whole team 2 sweet spot this fecker off the break (lets hope he's wearing a box hmmmm).

I would guess that this was a walk-on rather than a pure training session. When i used to marshall regularly I found that walk-ons were the worst at playing on. What does it matter to them if they get a bad reputation? It's not like they can get thrown out of a team if they don't belong to one.

There's not really a lot you can do in this situation except do as Chris suggests - everyone get together & shoot the sh*t out of the b*st*rd. Just make sure he finds out why afterwards, or he won't learn the lesson for next time.

Well, that's the great thing about paintball: revenge is just a game away, zipping to them at 290 fps X 10 balls or more. Shoot him upon next opportunity in the crotch, center of the back, the tail, sternum, wrists (which will really hurt his love life), etc. Oh, and use thick paint. What better sport to have people like that in where the punishment fits the crime so well and can be so easily applied?

I hate wipers more than anything else in paintball. What can be more frustrating to see a nice big pink splat on someone's hopper only to see if vanish when they come back out?

Even in recball, if I know the purposely wiped a hit, I am going to say something. I won't act angry, I just tell the person to his face in front of everyone else that is present. And I have a good creditable reputation at my local field, so it would probably make the guy look like an ass.

And another thing that pisses me off is that when they (the wipers) reply with something as STUPID as "It's no big deal man." NO BIG DEAL!? WTF? What is the whole point to playing the game? To put a f8ckin "mark" on the opponent. When someone wipes the whole point to the game is defeated.

Sorry, maybe I should go to an anger management class to prevent me from going on rants on message boards

My other solution: put more paint on them than can be wiped without a towel and/or pressure washer. Overshooting be damned. If they're not walking with an arm or gun up, my finger doesn't leave the trigger. They'd better here a whirring of my Revo if they want any kind of chance of getting away with crap like that...and I will pod as quickly as possible and have no qualms about dedicating the next 30 rounds to them on top of it.

Hellfire looks great when it forms a silhoette on the ground or bunker where they were.
