could one of you lovely people clear the confusion i have please. im relatively new to paintball and use a cocker. i love the look of angels but have been told not to bother because they're more hassel than they r worth, u spend more time messin about with them and to get an ego instead. any thoughts. ta

No, that isn't true. Angel's are the lowest maintenance markers still in production (Viking's were also very low maintenance but are no longer made). They work splendidly. The end. :)

Try both and see what you like.

I have had lots of Angels and found them to be very reliable. They have excellent back up if you do have a problem. Some people moan about accuracy, but I have never had an issue with that.

Egos, just getting in to them, a Planet marker so you just know the back up will be first rate.

Good deals on 2nd hand Angels at the minute, 2nd hand Egos will cost you more.

If buying new, Egos will devalue slower than Angels.

I'm new to paintball, got an Angel IR3, never had any problems at all. Only fiddly thing was changing the trigger and setting that up as you have to take the entire trigger grip off to adjust the pull of the trigger.

If you get an 04 Speed or above you can adjust it externally..

I used to have an angel lcd, it didnt let me down once!

I now have an 05 speed and that hasnt let me down yet touch wood.
