Hey, I heard Angels work better on A.I.R if you use a gas through grip and just use the A.I.R. reg. Is this true? Or, for that matter, what works best for an Angel/A.I.R. setup? Thanks.
I was told the same thing. You don't have to change your grip you just open it up so your A.I.R reg does the work. The A.I.R. reg. makes the Velocity more consistant. That's what I was told anyways.

If you take the guts out the Mini reg on your angel. You then set the gun up using the output pressure on the Angel Air rig.
Big Ian has just done this on his marker ( he does know what hes doing , I think!! No he does , he is an angel tech and knows about sh!t like this ).
It was used at Wrexham , and performed fine. With the mini reg still intact it was + or - 10fps over the chrono' , but now it was running + or - only 2-3fps over the chrono.
The only thing you have to watch , is the adjusting screw works itself out a little over time , so you need to keep a check on this and put it over the chrono regularly.
