I'll tell you when i know
got a quick question for you Angel people.

I was playing with my trigger on my Angel LCD and have adjusted it so it right on the switch. i also adjusted it by making sure that you couldn't pull the trigger back any further than the switch. So its a really small movment.

So what my question is:

Does this help me playing i.e. more times i can fire.

Are the disadvantages to doing this?

One main problem, you may get a lot of trigger bounce. The feel of your trigger is a very personal thing, i know people who would hate a short travel like yours, and they fire very fast. Then there's others who like it really tight, personal taste Tom. Technically the shorter the travel the quicker the fire rate, but people like a bit of extra movement to make sure the microswitch resets each time, and they can feel a bit more resistance.

In the heat of the game you won't notice if your trigger pull is 1 mm shorter or longer, so play it safe and leave some room for the switch to work properly.

Yes mate, the screw under the spring adjusts the forward position, and the other one is the back stop. To adjust the back stop, get a flat rule and use it as a stop to set the height of the screw, saves putting the frame back together to set the position.

During the heat of the game, that's the one thing that you want to have PERFECT. If he likes it like that, he's going to notice a 1mm difference. When a trigger is set up differently than you prefer, it's actually one of the most noticeable things in your setup. I prefer a really short pull myself, with little or no slop, and if, say, my set screws rattle loose, I notice it immediately. Set it up how you like it dude, as long as the switch is activating each time, it's fine. Oh, and if you like your pull short and light, you've GOT to upgrade to an opto switch, muts nuts.
