Angel telling me something....

Was setting up my a4fly trigger this morning and when i had finished my Angel flashed a message on the screen.

"bolt hear check required" ??????

Whats it want me to do????

Anyone????

You mean 'bolt wear'?

If that's it, it is just reminding you to check that your bolt and soft nose is in tact, that's all.

LOL Everyone thinks it says bolt hear check.


All you need to do is hold your bolt right next to your ear and listen carefuly. If it remains silent for several hours then you are probably OK.

don't forgot to hold the bolt under warm water for 5 minutes, to check that the soft nose doesn't go yellow on the edges.
This shows up when the paint has degraded the soft nose.

Its definately yellow, but you have to look really closely to see it...

Cheers fellas, Sent it upstairs for a soak in the bath with the good lady wife, she reports its not gone yellow, but lost it somewhere!!!!!! Will have to put my "skuba steve" outfit on and go looking for it.

How do you reset the message??? Cause even after taking the bolt out and putting it back, it still flashes.

Also gave it to my eldest spawn, and told him to find me a long stand upstairs while waiting for the bolt to make a noise.......he was not impressed.(did last for about 5 min's!!)

Give the old bottom button a dab, and it shall dissapear.

You'll get lots of messages as you use your Angel. They are all just bits of advice triggered by the shot counter. Useful, but kind of annoying as well; especially if it starts asking for oil just before a game and the player doesn't spot it.

We had one player asking the judge for some oil at Campaign a couple of years back. Was really funny, hearing this scosser (sp?)ask, "ne judge... got some oil, me ****in gun wont work!"

Just hit that Button and get rid of them.
