Hi,

My friends Angel Euro Speed started having problems with it's eyes at a Walk On we were at last weekend. - He doesn't know much about Angel's and a guy there who did took it apart & spotted a problem with the ribbon for the eyes. He couldn't do anything about it though as he didn't have the necessaries. Anyways, he recommended that my friend take the gat down to Dartford as there's apparently an Angel specialist by the name of George (?) there. My friend's working away in Scotland as of yesterday, and has asked if I can help him get this sorted whilst he's away so it's back on the road and ready to rock for a game we're at the day after he returns ...

... Does anyone know of an Angel specialist / tech @ Dartford - if you could point me in the right direction, that'd be much appreciated !

Cheers for any help ...

Can't think of a tech called George. There is one called Dave Stewart or Kain Busfield though, both WDP authorised gun techs.

It's pretty plausible I was given the wrong name !!

Are either of these guys good with Angel's ? - Think it's just the eyes / ribbon that need changing as it stands.

Cheers for the info so far.

Thanks for the heads up Fester, appreciated.

It's not really an option though. I'm taking care of it as a favour for a friend while he's working away up in Jockland, so it's ready to rock on his return.

I'm at Dartford 7's for the comp on Dec 2nd so that'd suit me nicely if Dave or Kain cold take a look at it and apply their knowledge ...

Fingers crossed !

send it or take it to Jon or Chris at lips 01707 325007 they are the only uk wdp approved sales/service/warranty centre.
That's naughty Uncle Fester, it's as if you're making out the angel techs are not authorised by WDP to do any gun work, and only Lips can do this.

There are many angel techs about the country, who are all authorised and perfectly able to sort the problem out.

Jon and Chris at Lips do a wonderful job, but lets not forget all the AUTHORISED techs.

Well said Tom.
Lets not forget, there are gun techs such as yourself with in depth knowledge and an extensive engineering background that dwarfs anything that can be learned at a 1 day seminar.

By the sounds of it, it just needs a new set of eyes. So you could even replace the part yourself.

WDP have the most awkward and fragile eye setup, but its still quite simple to replace them.

The problem you may have Slimshady, is finding someone with replacement angel eyes, they are quite expensive so its less likely that techs will keep spares.

there are plenty around perhaps the best way to get advice or help is to call WDP and ask who they would suggest to work on there guns or the best place to buy spares, but I am pretty sure judging by the last conversation I had with WDP that LiPS are the only approved sales -service and warranty centre in the UK.
