angel speed

heloo all, iam trying to sort me angel out, the guy i bought it off had a 400 output preset bottle, however, i have an 800 output preset, i have removed one shim from the mini reg, however when i put the angel gauge on the lpr, instead of it being 82 psi, it goes off the gauge completely ? any ideas ?

This one has been dealt with in depth over on www.angel-owners.com - you have to re-arrange the mini-reg stack I think. Don't quote me on that though but answers are on the AOG site for sure

we tried every combination there was with the shims and could not get it to chrono less than 350 fps with a 800 psi preset ,in the end i had to get a armagedon,the new wdp presets are mean't to be good though

Yeah, I read at AOG a long time ago about the rearranging the spring stack for HP, it can be done, just do a search there and find the diagram that shows the spring stack order and you should be fine.

Richie, did it not come down enough. I can give you an even lower spring setting if you want.

yeh sorry tom i just didnt want to keep bothering you with it ! i changed the stack to ( ( ) ) ( as discussed but when i put the angel guage on it goes right off the scale, where as it needs to be set at 82 psi ? so it needs bringing down mega loads

think maybe this config ) lol

That's not the correct spring order, this is what i sent ( ) ( ) ( , try that it works on my A4 minireg.

cheers that brings the lpr right down to 40 psi, just got to bring it back a bit and its sweet lol
