Something else to think about...

Is getting an eblade cocker.

A team member has just got a carbon 04 facotry eclipse cocker and it absolutely rocks. Plus it weighs bugger all as well. Seriorusly consider it mate. Our team mainly shoots cockers and we're very successful with them!

angel all the way!

Between the two it has to be A4 all the way, it's quick, accurate and comes with an after sales package that is second to none.
the dm4 has yet to establish itself and if it breaks down how do you take it to? drakxxus? i dont think so, there not servicing them.

ive lost count of the number of times ive given this peice of advice to new players......
there is no 'best' marker....there are loads of different choices out there and at the end of the day most people are going to sugest eather what they use or the one they have for sale

my advise is dead simple......go to a tournie and watch some games and whilst you are there walk about and talk to some players, ask if you can have a look at their markers, see what you like the look of, ask questions.......ask them if they dont mind if you take a few shots with it....i dont know many players that would say no, just make sure they arnt busy or anything.
the only way you will know what marker is best for you and your budget is to try a load of markers out and see what best fits what you can afford to spend.......once you have an idea what you are looking for a great place to start is the classified section of this website.

good luck and if you need any help explaining anything etc just ask

Speed all the way, it's smaller, lighter, has the 90* grip that you have to buy as an upgrade for the 'trix, and there is a service stand for them at most tournaments, whearas the matrix no-one in the UK is certified to fix them.

oh, forgot to mention, the speed RIPS!!
