has any one had any problem with the eye's on these. Fired mine for the first time yesterday and switch the eye off by mistake and chopped then after that the eye would only pick up a ball ever 5 sec or so has any one else has this.

Paint has filled up the eye holes... remove eye's (Carefully!)... and clean out and replace...

Someone also mentioned that those gas can that you get for cleaning computers was also effective at cleaning out the eyes as a short term measure... but will probally need a good clean anyway at the end of the day...

You can buy a can of compressed air, like a can of wd40 with a long pipe on the nozzle. Great for cleaning out the eyes, also check that no paint has gone under the eye covers. (watch the springs)

If you work in an office, order it from the stationary catalogue and then swipe it.

Works really well on bits too delicate for a cotton bud. Ooer missus!
