I know LPS service angels- not entirely sure what they do exactly. My mate got two angels done pretty quickly.

Since you're sending it in from N Ireland, you might as well send it to WDP, although as Dicky said LPS are good too.

As for what gets done when I service an Angel, I first ask the owner if they've had any recent/major problems with the marker and how they'd like the trigger set up.

If they're wanting a complete service, then I strip the Angel down to the bare bones, cleaning each part and inspecting it for wear and tear - particularly parts that their observations may indicate are becoming faulty. If an expensive part needs replacing, then I'll check with the owner before doing so unless given blanket permission beforehand. Then it's a case of reassembly - with re-greasing where required - then tuning, including the desired trigger setup. Rumors that I talk to the Angel as if they are a patient are completely tru... err, untrue. :D

Sometimes people just want their Angel re-tuned, which is simply setting the trigger, snap ring, ram stroke & LPR to optimum. It's really the sort of stuff that can be done by anybody with the tool kit, the manual and a bit of confidence or some teaching.

If no trigger preference has been given, I just set it for a generic pull, nothing particularly spectacular, but it will stay roughly the same for a long time, unlike some of the really fine setups that often require continuous tuning. If the owner wants their trigger set in a particular way, then I prefer to finish it with them firing the marker, since everybody's idea of a perfect trigger setting is different. Eg. I like a very fine rest to firing point, then a firing point to stop about three times longer, since that fits how my fingers work. Some of my teammates just can't get on with that though & so I have to set their's differently.

Sometimes I also get given new parts to fit, such as the 2001 battery pack for a 2000 LCD or custom triggers. If you've got a 2000, then I really recommend the former - that little yellow tab is the Devil's own creation!

As one request on behalf of the tech you send your Angel to: clean it first! I often get a poor abused Angel covered in cr@p, old paint & unidentified crud that I prefer to remain unidentified! Even if handed the marker at the end of a tourney, it's nice if it can be given a once over with a cloth first. Sorry, but it's just one of my little bugbears. :)

Warped Sportz, Cobra and Adrenaline do Angel tuning, but they're all in the states so you'd be looking at a lot for shipping. I don't know for sure, but planet might do it (I'm from the States so I'm not really up on the European paintball stores, but planet seems to do almost everything else...)?
