Ummm... could you give a better idea as to what thse 'broken bits' actually are? If you're talking about a few o-rings then it's not a lot of money, but if something like the circuit board or 14-way is broken then that's a lot of beer tokens.

i wasn't talking about anything particular but i have been told not to get anything such as an angel for my first marker as it will cost alot for it to be repaired if broken or damaged.

No more than any other marker.........

Don't be led by rumours of this nature. All Angels techs (that I have known) have been real nice guys. In fact, an Angel tech had a really nasty experience with my BRNAD NEW A4 at the last tournament I attended. The LPR threads stripped when he put his guage on to test the LPR. Now I actually watched him put the guage on, he did absolutely nothing wrong. The guage was screwed on by fingertip. When it came to remove the guage, the thread stripped. I can tell you, I was really worried at that point, thinking he was going to give it to me in my hand, say sorry and walk away. He actually had the marker repaired AT HIS COST..... I thought that was good C/Service.

basically any marker is gonna cost to get repaired but it depends on what you brake.
im my experience all marker work great if you get them set up by somone who knows what they are doing and dont fiddle with it.
as long as you arnt throwing it about or standing on it any marker isnt gonna brake

all electro markers have a solonoid in them that isnt gonna be cheap if you over pressure it but other than that theres nothing rediculously expencive in most markers
