Anyone tried to fit a speed05 frame on a a4/fly??

Think Tom Allen(Tech supreme!) was going to try, but not heard if he or anyone has done it yet.

you can but you will need to take a dremmel to your flash tank mount as it overlaps by about 1mm

Some guy at PBN swapped his 05 frame for his Joy frame, and it all fit fine (so he said). Of course, you'll lose the magnetic thing if you put the 05 frame on another angel.

Hi Gary, it's sort of possible. There is a problem, the front grip position has changed slightly. This means that the A4 minireg flash tank will not suit the grip frame, and vice versa the speed front grip won't fit the A4, as the porting is comprimised.
It could be possible to machine the grip frame's front edge to clear the standard A4 fllash tank, which is possibly the easiest way to mod this setup.
Straight out of the box, as a bolt on setup, no way. But with a bit of modding yes.

What magnetic thing you on about dr. ???

Sounds like something even i could manage to fit. Any idea about a price for the speed05 frame's ???

The trigger in the new 05's is magnetic, but if you put it on an A4/Fly/anyotherangel, it won't really be magnetic because there isn't a corresponding set of magnets for the one's in the trigger to attract/repel.

The oppsing magnets are in the wheels, so you'll need new wheels.
