Folks,

I have just got my grubby hands on an LCD Fly. I have a Flatline reg on the bottom of it. I was wondering what settings you guys would recommend, the things I am looking for are:

Input pressure from the flatline:
MROF:
Dwell:

anything else you think an angel newbie should know.

Thanks a million

Input pressure 600
Dwell 14
MROF Depends what hopper you got on it?
Revvy I'd set it at 15
Richochet 15
Egg II 20
Halo B (not seen one work well on an LCD) 20

When you get a chance get the LPR pressure checked and the ram stroke adjusment!

I assume the flatline is an adjustable reg, then you're looking at about 650 - 750 psi from the reg. Dwell of around 14 or 16, and mrof of 16 until you get it shooting that fast then increase it as your rate of fire gets higher.
Have you got gun oil, a manual would be handy, and a base charger.

On a safety point, if the connection between the reg and the marker is made with push fit connectors and hose, check that they are in good condition. If they do not disconnect easily or have a small leak,

CHANGE THEM !!!

Don't buy replacements as i sell better ones that are far safer and actually can handle the 650 - 750 psi that you are putting through them.

Hope this helps, Tom.

On an LCD i've experienced a few problems with low levels of dwell, i would try at least 14, then if you're happy try 12 and see if it handles it. 14 or 16 are fairly safe settings for the LCD.

All LCD and IR3 angels came from the factory with a dwell of 14, and seeing as to how WDP is the inventor of the marker, they've probably got a pretty good idea of what the dwell should be (I don't think they're getting any kick back from the Scuba companies, so wasting air and lowering the efficiency of their marker out of the package wouldn't be in their best interest). If you have a HALO B, Odyssey recommends setting your dwell to 16 or 17, but with the HALO, it basically comes down to how lucky you are. I have one that works like a dream on my LCD, but chops like a blender on my IR3 for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Matter of fact, I'm actually thinking about selling my IR3 and trying to get ahold of a Force4.

I set my LCD's MROF to 20 as soon as I got it. Until you get some practice on the trigger you'll probably never be able to hit anything close to that anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

I had the input pressure from my angel AIR at 450 psi on my LCD with all stock parts. I've heard alot of people tell me that's impossible, but I took out all my LP shims, backed the screw almost all the way out of the mini reg and had 285 fps every time I played.

Before you even play with your Angel, go to www.angel-owners.com. You can search for everything and anything pertaining to the Angel, and it's probably been answered. They also have an online manual there, and the sponsors are some of the best techs in the world.
