Angel Maintenance Tips Required...

Okay...

Up till now i have followed the dogma of when you are finished playing, wipe the worst off and leave your gun in the bag till next time, but...

I have a custom dark angel, angel air, freak system, intellifeed, the works. I am thinking i should care for her, as she has saved my not inconsiderable ass on many fields of play now.

Trouble is, never having bothered before, how do i do it? what should i be doing to keep "Her in T'bag" happy?

Your thoughts please people... :D

Do you have the angel tool kit? if not get one if you want to do a full service yourself!

Basic maintenance will be just cleaning her off and a few drops of oil in the ASA.
service will include stripping and cleaning the solonoid, checking and resetting the LPR and Snapring.
Do you have the manuals for the AIR and Angel?

Paul.

Just make sure that all screws are on tight and that you clean under the grips and oil it where it says with 'love juice' and that's all you need to do really. A friend didn't even clean his for about a year after playing nearly every major tourney and it still rocked :D I won't tel you who it is but he know's :D

You are overestimating my service skills...

I dont own an angel tool kit
I dont even own a chrono sized allen key
The manuals are around somewhere, maybe (unless they were suitable roach material)
I have no idea where the exhaust port is

In short, i know nothing. Less than nothing. At least i know i know nothing, which is something... i think.

Think angel maintenance for pre schools and we'll be on the same page. Please help...
:D

Any marker can be sripped and cleaned easy all you need is a bit of common sense first off make sure you air supply is off then make sure you got all the tools before you strip.

Now if you are really worried take 1 part/screw/seal off at a time and lay them out in a numbered order once all stripped, clean the body inside and out best you can,

Then check all seals for rips and snaggs then clean all parts from in the marker and put back together all you do is follow your numbered parts,Draw picture,s if need be when putting back together put light smear of oil on moving parts.Make sure you use the correct oil for the marker you own!!!!!

A Couple of drops in the exhaust valve,or cocking arm slot on side or even where your bottle screws on CO2 wise. Then dry fire 50 shots and try a ball or 2 thats it!

If it dont work take apart check you pictures and see it you can find the prob! rebuild and just keep doing it you will pick it up in no time also save,s on them there service bill,s and if your marker go,s down while you are playing you got a bit of know how on how to fix it!

Just a thought or dont bother and pay some 1 else who can do it!
Because he/she has learnt how to do it!
Its up to you

 :D
