Hey folks, Occasionally I have a loud hiss coming from under the bolt block thingy on my speed04 , im pretty sure its coming from the forward hole, but its not there all the time. Does anyone recognise the problem or will i need to send it off?

any help would be awesome thanks for looking

Try replacing the valve stem.. Most probably the seal on this or the stem it self is worn. A very easy DIY job, best to give LIPS a ring for the part.

Probably your exhaust valve stem. Your breach o-ring is gone too, but that shouldn't cause intermittent hissing, just a puff or hiss when you shoot.

You sure? I just looked at it again, still can't really tell. Black gun, black o-ring, hell I don't know. I think exhaust valve is the consensus though.

Looks like it's there and intact. Deceived by my own eyes... that's it, out they come!

Seriously though: exhaust valve. If it occasionally pisses air, but it goes away after you fire, that's not really a problem, just takes a shot for the valve to seal. If it does it all the time, or intermittently between shots, then you've got a problem.
