angel lcd problem

my angel lcd keeps turning itself off it doesn't seem to do it if i leave it alone but if i'm plying a game it just turns off and i have to wait a while before i can turn it on again, it shows no fault when this happens. please help someone. it did go back to wdp for this fault and i tought it was sorted but it is my spare and i haven't used it for a while.so i thought i would use it for a training day and it started again.

How many bars is the battery on ?


What type of battery do you have?

Is it the NiCd or the newer NiMh ?

Its possible your battery is fecked.
Or it could be the board!

Unfortunately they arent cheap to replace.

The best way to rule the battery out is to plug someone elses battery into your board, and see if you still get the same problem.

One fault which is quite common as the marker gets on a bit, is the wires to the back of the switch start to fail, and they need to be resoldered. It could also be that the battery is goosed, it would mean replacing the battery, and i have battery packs at a good price. It would be an idea to get a tech to look at it, and i think the closest to you is Kitch.

just a thought,lcd's dont like the cold i had mine in me m8s boot over a weekend and it took 3 hours to warm up and work properly,they also will not charge properly when cold

battery seems to hold charge ok and it had a new board when i sent it to wdp don't think it's the cold cos it's been indoors all day
it does have an intelerfeed but i have checked the wires and they seem ok
