Angel LCD and Fixed Output Regs

hi

Have a 2K1 LCD that I am setting up for a newbie , he has very little spare cash so I need to know if its possible to run this LCD on a 0.8L , 3000psi tank with a hi pressure 800-1000psi fixed output reg. i have access to these tanks and thought as a first set-up that it would be ok until he can afford something better ...

what do you reckon guys ??

The LCD manual recommends an input pressure of like 700 psi, so yeah, preset regs are fine. That's what the mini reg's there for. I run mine on an 850 preset all the time.

My friend ran one off the same size for a while, no problems at all. You tend to run into more problems when you use a fixed output reg on the newer angels.
