Angel Lazer eyes

Sup folks

Was wondering if anybody could shed some light on these. Having generally being an angel Hater i kinda took no notice when everyone was shouting about these.

Now it looks like Walsall illuminations down in my breech - typical of WDP... But a nice touch.

Are these better performance-wise? and what colour can you get?

Also ive noticed the angel eyes work off a ribbon cable - anybody know any other guns that use this and would these eye be compatable?

Nope, not even slightly.
It isnt even a laser. (hence the absence of a warning sticker on the side of your gun).

Red is the norm, or PM Collier as he can get blue ones.

Alot of smartypants guns use ribbon cable eyes, that fills you with confidence... right???

You have to use the ribbon cable as the cable needs to be flat enough to go under the trigger wheels.

So, as far as I know the WDP ones are the only compatible eyes, which is a shame at the silly price they cost!!!

Well ive given this 05 speed a try and its not filled me all confidence . At least it doesnt ask me to play with it on the gayest scrolling screen ive ever seen

I know SP use ribbons but i cant see it being a Simple fitting with SP guns using reflective eyes

I find it strange that people can get so offended about a screen.

If you dont want to read something, then dont!!!


Although I hear the new G8 will play the crazy frog at maximum volume every time you get more than 4bps




Obviously you wont be able to fit SPs eyes to an Angel or vice versa without serious modification and a new board.

I cant think why you would want to either!!!

in all fairness its not the txt, Its mainly the way WDP set out their markers and their "alternate" ways of doing things - i found it gimmickie - things like when the battery was low. the power used to power the backlit screen up could shorten the current to the solinoid..etc etc.. jus shows that WDPs ideas were in the wrong place.

Well to be frank SPs eye system isnt something to cheer about is it - i think the Lazer idea is pretty cool and for something as simple to alter slightly like a IR and reciever i thought it be a nice touch on other markers

I agree that WDP dont do themselves any favours when they choose to do things differently.
Although often I think alot of their ideas are great in concept, but once the army of lawyers and health and safety people have finished making them yank proof, alot of the advantages of the ideas are lost.


The only real advantage with the 'laser' eyes, is that you can see if your emitter is working by looking down the feedneck(not the barrel kids, thats just asking for it).
I dont think its worth the cost just for that.
