Angel IR3 plus Angel Air

OK, so here's the setup:

Angel IR3 with Angel Air and a 4,500 psi 1.1 bottle (one of those lesbian air jobs I'm told)

Now I have from what I've heard is a pretty typical problem with the angel air in that due to it not being used or gassed up for some time the tank pressure reading is out (always reads about 480psi). Everything else works and it's all perfectly usable though it is a bit on the heavy side.

However I'm weighing up a couple of options at the moment and one of those is to go down the route of replacing the angel air with a 'standard' preset reg like the guerilla ones at £40 - £50 for example. Now I've asked this on a couple of forums before and I'm getting conflicting answers. Do I go for a HP preset (850-950 psi range ) or LP (450-550 psi range) ?

When I'm setting the marker up I set the angel air output at about 600-650psi

as the man above said, its the 04 speed onwards that is low pressure.

Yes, this will lower inline pressure to the right amount mate

or you could send the reg back to LiPS or WDP for calibration.

I'm pretty sure you can reset the tank when empty to calibrate it. Check the manual. I'm sure it's online if you don't have a hard copy.

This is what I've been advised so will give it go soon. the IR3 and the air just came back from LiPS and I've been in touch with frazer from WDP who advised on the tank reset procedure(though I think jon from LiPS may have tried it already)
