Angel Fly software question...

Just had my board flashed to the latest software 4.0

With the news now saying that there are problems with ramping at certin events, Which mode does what????

What should it be set at to ramp??? and not to ramp???

Do not want to get into trouble!!!!

Before anyone says it, No it did not come with instructions, and yes I know all about angelsowners.com.

Just wanted a plain and simple answer, without having to read pages and pages of american kids saying"awsum" and stuff like that.

mode 1 is true semi 15bps.
mode 3 is the ramp mode.

Fester - are you sure? Thought Mode 1 on v4.0 was uncapped semi (e.g. upto 31BPS)?? Or is it adjustable semi? E.g. changeable from say 10-31BPS?

Can anyone describe to me how to access these modes and set up the Speed 05's in the various modes/ set the MROF? I borrowed a friend's Angel, thought i would be nice and get him the new software, but the tech's 1 minute dissertation did not stay with me long enough for me to describe the process to my friend.

to set the MROF on a speed 05 -

turn on the gun

remove <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=left%20hand" onmouseover="window.status='left hand'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">left hand</a> grip cover

press the internal menu button until the large top LED flashes RED

Pull the trigger to adjust the MROF

The settings are indicated by the small leds on the rear

1 LED = 15BPS
2 LEDS = 18 BPS
3 LEDS = 21 BPS ect up to 30 bps

With all LEDs on it is in PSP ramping

Turn the gun off and then back on and it will stay in the setting were you left it.
