Angel eyes

Hey everyone, ive think ive got a prob with the eyes on my speed 05.

When i turn it on and leave the eyes on i can still shoot the gun the same as if it had paint in it or the eyes were turned off.

This only happens every few shoots and for only one pull of the trigger then returns to normal then happen again for one pull.

Any advice?

Hi,

From your description I cant really understand what is happening.



Without paint in it the gun only shoots one shot every few seconds. <- Eyes dead.

With paint the gun doesnt shoot <- Eyes dead.

Eyes working fine one minute then not the next. <- Some kind of bad connection somewhere.




How do the LEDs on the back of the gun respond to a paintball (or a finger) in the breach ?

the LEDs on the back look like they do with the eyes on until after about 6 pulls they turn the way as if a ball is in the breech.

OK

Unplug the eye ribbon from the board.
If you get the exact same problem then its the eyes for certain.

Dirty eyes? have you cleaned them?

yep to the best of my ability.lll give them another to be sure

How are you cleaning them chris. Are you taking the covers off and making sure the backs are clean.

PS. watch the detent springs.

just out of intrest, where's the best/cheapest place to buy a normal set of Angel eyes from? Anyone got any spare?
