Hi bought a Angel 05 speed used the other week, when trying to fire with the eyes on a ball fires then waits say 2 seconds and then fires another one.

I have a reasons to believe that the eyes are faulty, so how do i get them fixed? how much will it cost me?

whats the difference between the eyes on from eyes off, because i was firing the marker with the eyes off and it seemed to be fast enough... What are the advantages with eyes on?

Thanks

First try cleaning your eyes.
It tells you how to do that in the manual.

If they still dont work when they are nice and clean they you will need to replace them. I think they are between £20 and £30

Eyes stop the gun firing when the ball isnt fully in the breach. If you are pulling the trigger faster than the hopper is feeding, the gun will wait for the ball to fall all the way into the breach before firing, otherwise it would chop the ball.

If you have a fast hopper and arent that quick on the trigger, you may be able to get away with eyes off mode, but it will break paint every so often.

yeh, im not fast yet because iv'e only just got into the sport, but i did chop a thew balls the other day, might just leave the eyes for the time being as im just going to walkons and not tournies, then maybe if i go serious into the sport i'll then get the eyes checked out so i can then shoot faster. But for the time being i'll just stick with what i have then.

Thanks Rob

The previous owner said the eyes wern't working when she tried.

I also don't know anything about paintball markers, therefore i won't know what i'm doing, eg. Cleaning the eyes, seeing if their loose, i don't even know what the eyes look like. :(

small led type jobby with a flat wire attached ..mounted below the feed neck area.
to check if there connected take of the left hand side grip expose the battery and you will see 3 wires ...1 for eyes 1 for switch 1 for the solenoid, check there all pressed in properly.
