Angel Euro Running hot

Was hoping to run my Euro at last saturdays Koth , but couldn't get the velocity down to 280fps , even with the adjuster all the way in it was down to about 305 or so (although reasonably consistent ) - unscrewing it didn't help much either with velocities getting a bit silly.. any ideas ?

What is the output psi of your air system?

Were you using a hp bottle ?

The euros are like the speed 05 and require lp I think.

But Tom will be along soon and will confirm this

Yep Euro angels require a LP reg

Look in the mirror, say "my angel is broke" 3 times and Tom Allen will appear and fix it.....or so I've heard

Its running off a pure energy 4500 ( blue collar on the reg - I'm pretty sure thats the LP one )

well mine is blue collar and its HP (4.5k/68cu)

the colour of the regs mean nothing on the pmi bottles.

I have had 2 red reg Hp ones and 2 of the new blue reg pi marked ones again Hp

ah - that might explain it. Where would it say on the reg ? I'll stick my maxflow on it and wind it down.

The only way to be sure with a preset is to actually measure the out put with a reliable gauge, especially the PMI ones, colour means nothing and many regs change output pressure as they wear
