Angel Detents

i always hear alot of people tell me how they made their springs on thier dentents longer so there stiffer but i have know idea how to do this

please help me

please share your wisdom to me!

This is at your own risk, you undo your detent very carefully making sure the spring doesn't fly out when the detent is completely screwed out, and then you take out the spring, and you stretch it....thats the nasty way, the other way is either getting a longer spring from a harware shop, or even a biro :) hope it works for ya....

thing is i dont know how to unscrew the detent i can remove it from my gun,

i have 2 orignal ones that vcame with the ir3 and one bullet style one

please help me

i admit it am a noob!

going to sound retarded again but meh,

mr suicide i unscrew the detent out of the angel and then what? i tried unscrewing it but nowt happens , do i need to unscrew it whilst its on my angel? i have also tried pushing an allen key to pop the ball out but nothing happens apart from my skinny fingers going red and tears coming fromb my eyes!.

please help me i think one of these days i might slip and poke my eye out!

It is a single peice detent that does not come apart.
Yep.

You can buy rebuildable detents though. I had a System X three-piece detent on my IR3.

Planet may still have some ir3 detent things in. They do a 'finger' detent if I remember rightly.

It's probably not on their website - so it's best to call them up.
