Angel charging

I'm trying to charge my angel LCD 2k2 when its pluged in the screen displays tab in.

the WDp manual (http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/) says:

Ensure the yellow Tab Key is removed from the rear panel of the ANGEL LCD TM . No charging can occur until this Tab key is removed.

My angel (second hand) never came with a tab key or can i find anywhere one would fit.

Any ideas?

i would guess and say that the tab is only sposed to be taken out the once and then thrown away...have you checked to see if theres anything in the hole where the tab should be?

The yellow tab key was used as the on/off isolation device on early LCDs. WDP changed the key to an on/off switch due to unpopularity of the key. This in turn, resulted in most people upgrading the battery and on/off switch to the new setup.

The yellow tab key or on/off switch is situated in the bottom left corner on the back of the Angel.

Right just had a look its filled the battery even though it was displaying tab in ahh well to seem to have worked.

Tab in, normally means that the marker needs to be switched on. It must be on to charge.
