There are two shot counters.
One counts all the shots ever made by the angel, the other can be reset by the user to record how many shots are being taken a game/day/year etc.

i know u can re-set the one which tells u how many u shot in the game/day .but im sure ive seen that u can re-set the total number shot?
it has sometimes happened if the battery runs out completly on your marker. it happens very rarely tho...
It was possible on older model's to hack them using a cable and software, but that invalidates the warrenty and makes you a very naughty boy. 
i dont!!,mines brand new mate,but when i was at a comp i thought i heard some guys on about it!!..one of them said its easy to do.............told the other guy ,he needed to look on the net......

Is this like dodgy car dealers, ere guv, Angel IR3, only done 20,000 shots, one lady owner, vicars wife.
Sometimes takes that many shots getting the trigger job just perfect!
