angel ar:k and sb ram leak

hi,

long story short i have ended up with my mates and his dads angels at my house. the rams in both of them keep to failing to close properly when they are shot so they leak air out of the open ram until the ram is pulled back by hand.

i've taken the ram and bolt out of both of them and cleaned them, they were really gunged up with paint, and put them back but its not helped... i didnt lube them because i couldnt find out if they needed grease or oil. anyone got idea what i should try next? or what lube to use?

or the valve stem - i believe it is - is damaged or faulty

The actual rammer or the valve stem?

The rammer is none serviceable but if its the valve stem, it could that the magnet has managed to work loose, which is common, and flipped over.
So instead of repelling the magnets are attracting keeping the valve open and leaking air out
