Angel AIR tank using a different reg?

As the title says, if you were to buy an Angel AIR reg then say...take it off and buy a preset reg could you put it on the bottle with no hassle?
ie. swap a 4.5k Angel AIR reg with a centreflag or PMI etc preset reg and keep the tank cos its pretty

so long as the threads match and its a 4500 reg i see no problem with it.
