There are two options that i know of edd.

There is a rail you can get that will allow you to position it just as you like, but this adds about 1/2 inch to an inch in height.

The other is basicaly the same as the mounting i gave you with it but has more hole along it at 1/4 inch intervals or so.

I reckon the second option would be the better, plus its cheaper.

WDP shopping trip? :D

Does that mounting rail actually put the tank any farther forward than the standard mount? I think the additional holes would only allow you to add MORE length, as the holes in the very back of the rail are in the same spot as the standard mount, and all the rest are further forward from that. Best to find that out before making your purchase. I think Dye and CP have really short "mini drops" you could check out.

Ah, I get it. Just got confused 'cause he was asking about drops and wants his marker farther forward. I get it now.

Edd,

Read your mail and was a little surprised.

The Eclipse Cocker is piece of kit, it's no Tipman, but what can you do :)

Why would you want to push the marker back or touch the grip frame for that matter.

If you do the balance of the entire marker will be destroyed, unless you have arms like absolute tree trunks you'll be shooting shots all over the place.

Plus, I had a friend who did something similar, moving things forward restrict your shooting angles and restrict you when lane shooting.

I would say leave it how it is, or by a Tipman (meant Angel)

Hope this gives you something to think about.

Pete

Ok im confused by what you've said.

I dont want to move the marker back or 'touch' the grip frame. At the moment the marker sits much further back that it did with my old air system, i almost have to bend my wrist (ala drop forward style) to shot.

All i want to do is get something the opposite of a drop forward, a drop back if you will, so the marker and the air system are further apart. No it won't ruin the balance of the setup because my old air system sat further back and it was fine.

P.s. Its Tippmann not Tipman and Angel not Angle (unless its a poor attempt at irony)
