angel a1 velocity help .

afternoon all , quick question , have come to play and my mates angel will not chrono under 400 , i have altered the velocity on the mini reg but it only alters between 400 and 450 , have took the back plate off and it has 3 domed shims and 4 flat ones so any thoughts please , cheers .

If you have been using a high pressure output bottle, try a low pressure one.

as Nitro says, try a low pressure bottle reg or do the mini-reg mod.

Thanks for the replies chaps, I had it running on HP previously,but a friend had serviced it,so i am putting my money on the shims being wrong,going to pull it apart over the week and do it properly now i have the time,thansks again

double check to see if the little ball bearing is present in the mini-reg.

if the shims are correct you need to check the small piston, it should have a seal on the end, if its gone then that is the problem and it will need replacing.

Thanks again for the replies chaps, Nitro, no ball bearing on the mini reg, so i think thats a big problem ,but not sure as its on the A1 fly and hot had any experience with taking them apart so will be watching a million Youtube vids on what they are like , and LIPS, yes the small piston did have a seal on when i pulled that out,but again thanks for the help,always appreciated ,Den.

I'll see if i have a spare for you mate, but if not,lips or NPF paintball will have some for sure, failing that, a new reg will be your last option or a adjustable tank regulator
