Hi all!

I have a angel a1 fly and was wondering if i could use a High pressure tank on it? the manual does state the idea pressure should be 450psi, but also mention it can operate anything up to 850 psi from the air tank.

So i have two questions, i have two air tanks that our high pressure, one is a Pure energy one and the other a draxxus both have standard regs on them.

can i use these air tanks on the Angel?

How do i find out what the reg out is?

Thanks/

I have a Angel A1 Fly and have 2 air bottles that I use, one being a DXS HP reg and bottle and the other being a HP crossfire reg and bottle.

I also have team mates that use both HP and LP regs on theirs.

The only thing I will say is that if you upgrade to the Angel Boost Bolt then you will have to use a LP system (with the new bolt and a HP set up it wouldnt chrono under 310).

you can use both a HP bottle and a boost bolt but you will have to get an angel tech to take a couple of chims out of the reg

but the easiest way would be to change the spring in your tank reg or buy a new one

hope this helpes

you can use a hp tank on a fly as it has a different in-line reg than the regular A1 that controls the input pressure better.

but taking shims out of spring stacks on the air tank regulator is very iffy if you ask me. if it won't chrono under 300 fps with the boost bolt take the in-line reg apart and remove or flip over the top shim so the stack looks like this ; )()() (removed shim) or like this; )()()) (with shim flipped over)

not entirely sure how many rows of shims but my team mete got his switched by the kind staff at lips

shims should always be opposite to make a spring effect ie. )()()(

so pretty much what eelz said:whs:
