OK, using an allen key to dial up and down the output pressure on my AIR is beginning to become a little annoying.

Then I read about the Cobra (www.cobrapaintball.com) on/off screw which replaces the exisiting grub screw in the front of the AIR reg, allowing you to dial the pressure up and down with your pinkies. It also has a locking but to make it tournie legal - nice!

However, has anyone fitted one of these to a 2nd generation AIR reg? The ones with the raised 'shoulder' where the pressure screw is?

A teammate and myself are both after getting one but apparently there is some issue using the Cobra thumb screws on the second generation AIR.

Anyone used them? Any good? Any problems? Thanks in advance...

Cheers MRfixit - It's John at LPS I've spoken to about them - I'm already involved in the Angel Owners thread :D

Was just wondering if anyone here had actually used one??

Mark - where does it say on the Cobra website? Only bit I can find about them is in the Air Systems >> Accessories section and it just says...

"WDP A.I.R. On/Off Knobs for the front of the reg. Just as with the Armageddon knobs, this one replaces the internal adjustment screw. They come with a locking nut on it, allowing you to play tournaments with out any problems."

No mention of which type of reg they work on?? Am I looking in the wrong place?

I'll make you right on that, It certainly did say it before  but one call to LPS who stock Cobra stuff in the UK will answer the question you have....in simple terms the locking adjuster is a set length (with a bit of adjustment obviously) but the newer dome AIR regs will be too long for the adjuster to fit and work properly...they may have made the adjuster longer now ?? Hence nothing on the website.
