Hey guys,
Another A4 question, anyone know where to get a copy of the software 'SexyAngel', at least I believe thats what its called.

Or, is there any other software to edit settings in the A4?
And is it through IR, or through physically connecting it to a PC, and if so, how do I go about doing that?

Cheers guys!!!

I havent heard of it being done on anything newer than an Ir3.
But dont let that put you off, you might be the first to do it.

I know Matt the perv has the sexy angel program. He also has the wires and stuff to connect it all up.

His username on this board is mgj2002_uk

Yeah, I'm interested in this as well :)

I'm guessing you would have to physically connect the board up using a data cable as WDP never released the PDA software for the A4. Despite there being numerous references to it in the manual :\

Also, anyone know how to connect the A4 board to a PC, I cant begin to work it out.....

Cheers!!!
I gave you some hints on the last post.

The 5 way connector uses a standard configuration called RS232.
It hides under the L shaped cover with a 'warranty void if removed' sticker.
Next to the connector are a couple of jumpers, I guess these are used to tell the board to boot into programming mode.
You will need to experiment with these though.

RS232 is a serial connection designed to allow a microcontroller to communicate with a serial port on a PC.

The connector at the board end is a 5 way connector made by JST.
The connector at the PC end is a standard 9 pin D socket.
Additionally you will need some precrimped wires to make the cable.

You can find out how to wire a standard RS232 to your computer using Google.
