Currently shooting an ETEK 2. Have shot EGOs since 05. Did a tech course at Planet back in 05 so am quite happy to fix them if they go wrong. Also quite happy to maintain them.

However I am fancying an Angel 1. Used to shoot a Joy a4 before I shot EGOs and this was by far my favorite gun so fancy going back to shooting Angels again.

My question is this. How reliable are they? Are they easy enough to fix and maintain?

The EGOs I have owned basically need nothing other than a bit of oil or grease every few times out playing to keep them happy. Is it more involved with the Angel?

Any help appreciated.

shot one last year.

2-3 drops of the supplied oil in the asa every month and i was laughing.

I would advising upgrading the antidouble ball fingers to the tougher sort though.

Without the magna kit and a good tuning, gauges to tune are not provided, the efficiency can be a bit low. if you are at a site with 3000 air you could get 3 pots and a hopper from a 68cu tank.

Piece of cake, you'll be used to the layout and problems as the ego is a copy of the Angel. Lpr and solenoid are in a different place, otherwise much the same.;)
