Are there any of the Android apps that let me straight use these forums instead of on a web page?

Forum apps either have to be programmed specifically for the forum, or the forum to be based on software supported by an app such as tapatalk. Both at cost to the forum owner

On another tack - 'Theres an app for that' is Apple hype which manufactured a market in mini pieces of software that do something you can already do, and probably charge you for less functionality than you already have for free
It's a bit confusing for me to have more computing power and faster mobile internet inside my phone than I used to have in a pc and dial up, but people seem to like restricting functionality just because it's 'mobile'
Yes, the phone of today has less capability than the pc of today, but it's easily capable of running text based software with some accompanying pictures
