just having a discussion about the news, who else would like to see some good news every day when you get home from work. not the death and destruction but some of the good stuff from around the world ? fed up of the war mongering and hate that is broadcast onto our screens every night. we have death seekers the media send them out to find some thing else.

This week has been nothing but utter miserable crap in the news tbf.

The thing is, bad news sells... It also hooks people to the screen.

You tell them there is a string of burglaries one night; the next they tune in to see where they're happening now... etc If they believe themselves to be at risk, then they want to better inform and equip themselves.

People would get bored with the news if all they saw was images of people better off than themselves after winning the lottery and so on, such forth

But I have to say, not being particularly fond of the Monarchy and such myself; I really think the mass over-coverage of this is a joke.

There was a newspaper in the states called "The Good News". It folded in 2 weeks. People aren't interested in good news We should just bring back the gladitorial games and let the public get it out that way with convicts. 2 birds one stone.
