I just wanted to apologise to anyone who has expected Lips to be at the Midland Masters events that have been held in 2006.
There are some diplomatic ‘inter company happenings’ behind the scenes that are making it awkward for us to attend events at the moment.
No reflection on Wendy or her operation at all. Wendy is lovely and deserves all the accolades she gets. Her series of tournaments are without doubt one of the key driving forces in UK paintball. Given the choice we would have done every event this year, they are absolutely great.
We will be at the 7 man events which begin in March.
Nope, the complications lie elsewhere. I am unable to elaborate at present but I will be delighted to fill everyone in at a later date.
I think it best to add that there are no problems at Lips at all, no planned changes in personnel, no financial crisis and no personal dramas. It really will be business as usual.
I sincerely hope that if for any reason anyone has a dim view of LiPS because of our absence you will completely understand in a few weeks time.
I look forward to reading the threads which will no doubt discuss the ramifications of what will come to light and how it affects UK and indeed worldwide paintball.
Best wishes,
Chris Lacey.
