What are the conversions of bottle sizes?

1.1 = 68ci
1.5 = 88ci
1.9 = something far too big (114ci perhaps)

I also know there is a tiny 45 (something like that) ci tank, what is that? I have probably got these all wrong so feel free to correct me and put me in the know. Thanks...

over here in the US an old teammate made the mistake of buying a UK bottle from someone at a tournament...when he had it hydro'd, the tester didn't see a DOT approved label so he just drilled a hole in the bottle as a "fail" and returned it....FYI.

That sort of thing has GOT to p!ss you off!!
Even if the bottle should fail for whatever reason, its still..."Great, now I cant play till ive found £160 for a tank, and then I cant afford paint!!"

if that happened to me i think its a fairly simple case of the tester not doing his job propperly and his duty to replace what he destroyed! no questions asked

Sorry guys, but I think you'll find that testers in the UK would do exactly the same. By law, it wouldn't be legal to use & therefore it has failed it's test!
Hotpoint - can you clarify exactly what the testers should do by law when sent a non-legal bottle?
